Molly Primm

Executive Director of Austin Hotel & Lodging Association

Molly Primm joined the Austin Hotel & Lodging Association as Executive Director in March 2026, where she leads advocacy and strategic partnerships to advance policies that support Austin’s hotel and lodging industry, its workforce, and the broader community. 

Molly brings a comprehensive industry perspective shaped by leadership roles at both a publicly traded hotel ownership REIT and the nation’s largest hotel association. She previously spent eight years with Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. (NYSE: INN), where she led environmental, social, and governance strategy across a national portfolio of hotel assets and founded and led the company’s nonprofit private foundation. 

Most recently, she worked with the American Hotel & Lodging Association Foundation, where she led national workforce and leadership initiatives and strengthened the Foundation’s data-driven approach to measuring program impact. 

Molly holds a Master of Arts in International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Political Science, from Texas State University.
